Export everything or import from another system
Download the firm's full records at any time, or bring them in from Clio, MyCase or PracticePanther.
Start a full export
Go to Settings, then Import and export, and open Export everything. Select Start a full export and confirm your second factor. The ZIP holds every record as CSV and JSON, every document and the audit log, with a SHA-256 hash of each file. Bank account numbers appear only as their last four digits.
Download the export
When the export shows done, select Download. Download links last five minutes; you can make a new one any time, including after you cancel.
Check an import
On the Import tab, choose From (Clio, MyCase or PracticePanther), the Cut-over date and, for opening balances, the trust account. Choose the CSV files you have and select Check files. Nothing is written yet.
Fix errors and commit
Check results lists new and matched rows, errors that must be fixed in the file, and warnings. When there are no errors, select Commit import and confirm your second factor. A batch can be committed only once.
After the import
Open matters stay in intake until their conflict checks are resolved, and imported time is in drafts for review. Opening trust balances are posted as deposits on the cut-over date, and the designated licensee gets a task to reconcile as of that date.
