Every matter with its parties, documents, notes, tasks, key dates, time and money, and a full activity history.

    How it works
  • Clients and intake

Contacts and leads, public consultation booking pages, and a saved conflict check on every new matter.

    How it works
  • Calendar and tasks

Hearings, deadlines, meetings and consultations in one firm calendar, with tasks and due dates on each matter.

  • Documents and e-signature

Versioned files per matter, engagement-letter templates and online signing with a completion certificate.

    How it works
  • Time tracking

Timers, quick manual entries and firm rounding rules. Calls and texts on your LawMOR line draft their own entries.

    How it works
  • Billing and invoicing

Pre-bill review, hourly and flat fees, write-downs, credit notes, LEDES 1998B and client billing guidelines.

    How it works
  • Online payments

Card and bank (ACH) payment links by email or text, routed to trust or operating. Card fees never touch trust.

Client ledgers that cannot go negative, monthly three-way reconciliation and a one-click CTAPP review packet.

Clients see their matter status, shared documents and invoices, pay online and send secure messages.

    How it works
  • Calls and texting

Firm numbers, two-way client texting with templates and opt-outs, and calls filed to the right matter.

    How it works
  • Reports

Utilization, realization, receivables aging and captured time, with a QuickBooks export for your accountant.

    How it works

  • Billing

Catch problems before the client does

Pre-bill review flags block billing and vague narratives with the LEDES code that would reject them, before the invoice goes out.

    Three-way reconciliation, signed

Bank, journal and client ledgers side by side. It can only be signed when all three agree to the cent.

Versioned documents checked by their contents, shared with the client in one click, protected by legal hold when needed.

Small firms lose billable time, carry the most trust-accounting risk, and pay the most per person.

  • ~50%

of billable hours can be lost when time is written up at the end of the week instead of the same day.

  • 83–89%

of firms in California's trust-account compliance pilot were noncompliant on ledgers and reconciliations.

  • $49–$150

per user per month on the published plans of the major practice suites, with staff seats charged the same as attorneys.

California-grade trust accounting

Trust records a State Bar CPA can follow.

California's mandatory trust-account compliance reviews began in September 2025. LawMOR keeps the records they ask for while you work, not the night before.

  • Client ledgers that can't go below zero, enforced by the database
  • Transfers to operating only against an issued invoice
  • Monthly three-way reconciliation, signed only at a $0.00 difference
  • A one-click CTAPP review packet with every schedule and a manifest
  • Card fees and chargebacks never touch trust

Only in LawMOR: call and text capture

Add a firm number, and your calls keep their own time.

Other tools stop at a call log or a lead. Because LawMOR carries the call, it knows who called, how long you talked and which matter it belongs to.

  1. Calls and texts come in on your LawMOR number

Keep your number or get a new one, with optional lines per attorney or per matter. Business texting registration is handled for you.

  2. LawMOR finds the matter

A known number with one open matter files on its own. When a client has several matters, AI reads the transcript and suggests one, and you confirm with a tap.

  3. You approve a drafted entry

Measured call length, a clear narrative and UTBMS codes. Drafts stay private until you approve them, and nothing is billed without you.

We'll publish our matter-match rate. Our target: 80% of calls and texts filed with no help, 97% after one tap.

AI built in

AI does the paperwork. You keep the judgment.

LawMOR uses Claude, Anthropic's AI models, to file your communications and draft your time, so the end of the day is a review, not a write-up. Every AI result is a private draft for you to approve.

  • AI matching

Knows which matter a call was about

When a client has several open matters, AI reads the call or text and files it to the right one. Unsure? It asks you instead of guessing.

  • AI narratives

Writes the time entry for you

A clear, billing-ready description of every call and text thread. Edit it, accept it or discard it.

  • AI receptionist

Answers after hours and takes the intake

New callers get a polite automated assistant that says it is not a lawyer, collects their details and what they need, and hands staff a ready lead.

  • Firm controls

    Your switch, your limits

Turn AI off for the whole firm or cap what it can spend per day and month. Without it, LawMOR falls back to rules and templates.

Privacy is our priority

Your clients' secrets stay yours.

A law firm's records hold privileged conversations and client money, so privacy is the first requirement for every feature we build, AI included. Built around ABA Formal Opinion 512 and California's guidance on generative AI.

Questions firms ask before switching

Is LawMOR a complete practice management system?

Yes. Matters, contacts and intake, conflict checks, calendar and tasks, documents and e-signature, time, billing and LEDES, online payments, trust accounting, a client portal, texting and reports are all in one app, on every plan.

Do I have to use LawMOR phone numbers?

No. Everything works without them. If you add a LawMOR number, calls and texts on it are also filed to the right matter and drafted as time.

How much does it cost?

Solo is $39 a month for one attorney. Firm is $79 a month for up to 5 attorneys, plus $15 for each additional attorney. Staff seats are always free. Phone and texting usage is billed at cost.

Can I move my data from Clio, MyCase or PracticePanther?

Yes. Import their standard exports of clients, contacts and matters from Settings, Import and export. You can export everything from LawMOR at any time too.

Is my clients' data used to train AI?

Never, by us or by our AI provider. Each firm can also turn AI off entirely; LawMOR then uses rules and templates instead.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 30 days with every feature and no credit card. If you do not choose a plan, the workspace becomes read-only and you can still export everything.
