Your sign-in, second factor and devices

Why LawMOR asks for your second factor again, and how to manage your signed-in devices and your own data.

Account and security3 min readOpen this in LawMOR

  1. Sign in with a second factor

Select Continue to secure sign-in on the sign-in page. Set up a second factor when asked. Each person needs their own sign-in; do not share one.

  2. Know when it is asked again

Money and data actions ask you to confirm your second factor again if you have not in the last 10 minutes: trust postings, recording payments, issuing an invoice that uses trust funds, signing a reconciliation, the CTAPP packet, firm exports, committing an import, and downloading or deleting your own data. LawMOR sends you to the sign-in step and brings you back.

  3. Manage signed-in devices

Open your initials in the top bar and select Your account. Under Signed-in devices, select Sign out next to any session you do not recognize.

  4. Download or delete your own data

Select Download my data for a file of what LawMOR holds about you. Delete my account removes you from every firm and anonymizes your profile; records you created stay with each firm as legal retention requires.
